Shadowlands: Beyond is an animated series set in the world of World of Warcraft

One would just like to say finally. Blizzard has announced something that many fans of the brand have been waiting for for years, namely an original animated series based on the game World of Warcraft.
This one will be titled Shadowlands: Beyond and will debut this Thursday during Gamescom 2020, which this year will be held online due to the Coronavirus pandemic. We have to admit that this kind of announcement from Blizzard seemed inevitable for a long time.
For years, the manufacturer is famous for its short animated introductory videos to games, which we could admire in titles such as World of Warcraft, Hearthstone or Overwatch. So far, these were only supposed to fuel the hype for the story or characters from these games, promoting the title. Shadowlands: Beyondworld, on the other hand, will be the first original series in the world of World of Warcraft, which is to be a standalone work. So far, however, not much is known about the series itself.
"The choices we make while we're alive not only define us, but also have a decisive impact on our fate in the hereafter. Prepare yourself for a journey through the Shadowlands and the kingdoms that comprise it: Bastion, Maldraxxus, Ardenweald, and Revendreth. See where, after death, the souls of the mortals who inhabited the world of Azeroth go" - reads the description to the trailer of the series, which will take us to the reality of the newest WoW expansion.
The published trailer suggests a dark atmosphere that matches the upcoming expansion.
