Bread crumbs - can they be substituted with something else?

Breadcrumbs are an essential part of Polish and German cuisine. Although a simple product, many different types of bread can be turned into crumbs, it is used at homes to prepare traditional schnitzel chops or fried meatballs. It is a functional ingredient for different dishes and coating meats.

How to use bread crumbs in the kitchen? 

There are too many ways to use breadcrumbs in the kitchen, and it would be difficult to list all of them. Asparagus, cauliflower, green beans, Brussels sprouts, broccoli, meatballs, pork chops, meat rolls are some of the dishes that require breadcrumbs for that crispy outside layer. One thing is sure- breadcrumbs are the simplest type of coating used for meats, fish fillets, and vegetables.
